Description

Hardy Apricot Trees offer small, plump, golden yellow fruit with sweet, juicy, freestone flesh. Can be used for fresh eating, preserves, and drying.
Compact, bush-like tree grows 10-12′ tall. Its pinkish white, frost-resistant blossoms appear in early spring before the leaves. Amazingly vigorous. They prefer a well-drained soil. Apricots grow well in mild climates with long summers. The tree will thrive protected from wind that still receives full sunlight.
Self-fertile but bears more heavily in groups of 2 or 3. Makes a nice hedge.
Ripens mid-July.
Hardy in Zones 2-9. Has been known to withstand winters at -60 below zero! A healthy apricot tree can live from 20 to 30 years.
